The Most Heartening Stories aka My Favorite People

Part 1 of my website launch series showcasing the most impactful stories I’ve had the honor to witness. Meeting different people, getting to know the ordinary and extraordinary aspects of their lives, is one of the best parts of my job.

Sister relationships have a special place in my heart, no doubt due to my own close relationship with my sister! So it makes sense that, when I was doing a story on homeschooling in 2019, this family with three sisters (aged 14, 12 and 8) carved out a place for themselves!

Lillian plays Rock Paper Scissors with her sister Izabel, competing to see who would have to practice reading a story for debate. Lillian lost and read her story, "All Summer in a Day," first.

As someone who went to public-school, experiencing the Molitor’s relationships gave me a newfound appreciation for the tight bonds that homeschooling created.

All of the stories featured in this series have a common theme, which alludes to the type of work I’ll be focusing on. Can you guess what it is?
